This couple’s first baby was born at home and then the mother experienced a hemorrhage in which she needed to be transported to the hospital for IV fluids.  They decided on a hospital birth for this baby and I was hired to be their hospital labor support.  I was quite pleased that they had a wonderful birth.  Educated, polite, assertive: ingredients for a great birth!

A very sweet birth that ended up being attended by only women: myself, her mom and her sister.  Daddy arrived from work right after his son (6th baby) was born and before the cord was cut or placenta delivered!  Read this mother’s birth story in the “Birth Stories” section.
